South Africa today has 274 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus (Covid-19).
Dr. Health Minister Zweli Mkhize said this means there have been 34 additional cases since yesterday’s announcement of the confirmed cases.
Meanwhile, another case has been reported in the Eastern Cape, two more in the Free State, seven more in Gauteng, nine in KwaZulu-Natal, one in Mpumalanga, and another 14 cases have been reported in the Western Cape.
The Eastern Cape reported its first case yesterday. A 28-year-old woman tested positive for Covid-19 after recently traveling to Germany.
On Friday, the number of confirmed cases stood at 202.
